Ontbijtkoek

A traditional dutch breakfast cake that's almost more like bread!  Made with wholegrain dark rye flour, honey, molasses, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and nutmeg.  This cake has no added oil or butter or eggs.  That's why it's almost imperative to slather on some butter!  :)

Spicy and dense, a little chewy.  Mmmmm so good, enjoy with your favourite beverage.
