About

The name is an homage to the Baker/Owner's heritage. As a second generation Canadian child of Dutch immigrant parents, Jo grew up enjoying sweet treats from her parents' homeland and as a teen developed a love of baking. Decades of baking and sharing goodies led to the desire to share these lovingly made delights with a wider group of people!

L'il Dutch Oven Bakery has been supplying Lukaya Cafe (ShadyGrove), a local Hamilton cafe with a variety of delicious baked goods since 2019.

Cafe Oranje, a local Hamilton dutch cafe, has been offering our Chocolate Peanut Butter squares since 2023.

Because LDOB is a small operation, products are available on a rotating basis so your favourites will be back. And maybe you'll find new favourites. We certainly hope you will.
